On August 4th 2004, a gathering of the Sri Lankan Fellows alumni at a special event at the Royal Colombo Golf Club with special guests, Jayantha Dhanapala, Secretary General of the Peace Secretariat and former under-secretary for Disarmament Affairs at the United Nations, and U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey J.Lunstead, led to the formation of the Eisenhower Fellowships Association of Sri Lanka. Shelton Wanasinghe , a fellow in 1967 was chosen to head the team as Chairman. The Office Bearers and Committee Members are shown below: |
