Fellows are active in fields of economic activity, of governance and public management, of politics as well as of civil society activism – to name a few. This has, in no small measure, enabled the Fellows, on their return to Sri Lanka, to make a valuable contribution to the progress of the country.
The experiences gained by each one of us in our interactions with our counter-parts in the United States have enriched the contribution that we could make to the strengthening of the polity, the governance, the economy and the society of Sri Lanka.
The continuing contacts that each of us maintain with our colleagues in other countries who were fellow participants with us in our programs has served to enhance our contribution to Sri Lanka. So has the interaction that we maintain amongst ourselves enriched the individual contributions that we are able to make.
